BACK TO LOS ANGELES from the 14th Lithuanian Folk Dance
Festival in Boston, MA
During the weekend of June 29 – July 1, 2012, the Boston Lithuanian American Community hosted as many as 47 Lithuanian folk dance groups from around the world. The dance festival is held every four years and for the first time it was held in Boston, MA. My wife, Edita, and I were one of the 1,800 dancers dressed in folk costumes and performed four dances
Everything went perfect, no mistakes on the dance floor and the props looked fabulous. More than 6000 guests from all over the world came to participate in a three-day celebration of dance, music and song.
This was my second time making the props for such an event, the first one was in Los Angeles in 2008.
I am looking forward for the next one!
My main purpose for this trip was to make the props for the stadium dance floor.
