Young children love to point and identify the animals, subjects and scenes depicted in a mural. This was one of the reasons that I chose an animal amphitheater theme so I could draw all kinds of whimsical animals joined in one place under an open sky. The ocean and the natural environment in the background tie all the walls together with a theater stage and audience dominating two of the walls to create a simultaneously vibrant and relaxing room to spend time in. This four-wall mural with clouds on the ceilings is all about entertainment and having a good time together without looking for differences in each other.
This mural was created while a baby boy was still being carried in his mother’s womb. What better way to inspire the imagination of a newborn baby than to put beautiful, creative images on the walls he will see everyday?
